Rochester: Tuesday, January 11th, 2022 at the age of 73. Predeceased by his parents, Olga and Wolodymyr; sisters, Helen Dasson, Christine Baran; brother, Zenko Baran. Survived by his wife Maureen (Wallace) Baran; cousin, Oksana (Britt) Carpenter; niece, Anna (Neal) Armstrong; nephews, Mark Carpenter, Todd (Sandra) Carpenter, Jeffrey (Susanne) Carpenter, J.T. (Cyndi) Phillips; brothers-in-law, Thomas Dasson and Eugene (Cheryl) Wallace; sister-in-law, Kathleen (James) Phillips. Bohdan worked for Rochester Institute of Technology, Alstom and GE Rail. He served in the Army Signal Corps.
Family and friends are welcome Sunday, January 16th from 4-7pm (Panakhyda 6:30pm) at the Michael R. Yackiw Funeral Home 1650 Empire Blvd. Bohdan's Funeral Liturgy will be Monday, January 17th at 10am at St. Josaphat's Ukrainian Catholic Church.
