Rochester: Monday, April 30, 2012 at age 81. Predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Ralph B. Sylvester. She is survived by her children, Vicki Preston, Tony (Maria) Sylvester and Nora (Steve) Sciolino; grandchildren, Jason (Camy) Sylvester, Kristina (Marcus) Lenear, Matthew (Kim) Sciolino, Brenda (Tom) Simko, Charlie Sylvester, Michael Sciolino, Christopher (Holly) Sciolino, Jacqui Preston and Giavanna Sylvester; 8 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Jane lived a full life with many memories. Always close to her family, she had an adventurous spirit and an incredible sense of humor. She was a talented artist and an educator who touched many lives with her loving guidance. Her light on this earth will be missed. Her family will receive friends on Thursday 4-7 PM followed by a Celebration of Life at 7 PM at the funeral home.
