Obituary for Janet Tubiolo
Friday, February 19, 2021. Janet was born in Middlebury, Vermont on November 17, 1943 to Edward and Eleanor Walter. She was predeceased by her parents and her husband of 48 years, Andrew Tubiolo. She is survived by her three children, Alana (Tim) O’Neil, Peter (Meredith) Tubiolo and Laura (Chad Aldridge) Kowalski; 9 grandchildren, Callum, Ava and Isabella O’Neil, Nicholas and Evan Tubiolo, Julia, William, Sophia and Audrey Kowalski; sisters Phyllis (Joy Tenney) Walter, Marjorie (Rick) Parker, Dorothy (Jim) Triquet and Heidi (Linda Martin) Nelson; sister-in-law Donna Tubiolo; and her beloved 4-legged friend, Blanca.
In recent years she fought hard, was blessed with many medical miracles and was able to remain living at her home as she had wished. Janet had 2 homes of the heart, both in Rochester, NY where she and Andrew raised their children and Lake Dunmore, VT from her childhood and special bond with her sisters, where her children and grandchildren have also created many fond memories. Her sharp intelligence, strong spirit and character will be dearly missed.
The family is having a private service to celebrate Janet.
