Obituary for Jaroslaw "Slavko" Petryk
Irondequoit: Slipped away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on February 7th, 2022. He's now reunited with those loved ones gone before him. He is survived by his children, Demyan Petryk, Oreshya (Neal) Peterson and Antin Petryk; grandchildren, Demyan C. Petryk, Natalka and Alina Peterson; mother of his children, Elaine Keller-Petryk; sister, Myroslawa (John) Borys; niece, Sonya (Vinicius) Aboin; nephew, Zenon (Geremy) Borys.
No prior calling hours. Interment at the convenience of the family. There will be a celebration of life at a later date in the spring. The family would like to give a special thanks to the ICU at Rochester General Hospital. Slavko will be missed but not forgotten. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ukrainian Cultural Center of Rochester.
