Obituary for John W. Hanratty
March 28, 2021. A lifelong resident of Penfield and Webster, John is survived by his wife, Rose Ann (Iezzi) Hanratty; daughters Michelle (Hanratty) Rowley; and Kristin Hanratty Reens (Matthew); brother-in-law Paul Iezzi and many cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Walter and Frances (Drexel) Hanratty.
John worked at Eastman Kodak Company for over three decades, and was a Logistics Manager at Kodak Park at the time of his retirement.
After retiring, John dedicated his time to serve his community and for the last 20 years was an active member of the Penfield-Perinton Kiwanis. He spent countless hours helping to organize golf tournaments and other fundraisers that benefited local charities, especially those organizations that improved the lives of children.
John enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was an avid sports fan, especially the NY Giants and NY Yankees.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 6th at 1:00 PM at Holy Spirit Church,1355 Hatch Road, Webster, NY 14580. Donations can be made to Golisano Children's Hospital, 601 Elmwood Avenue, Rochester, NY in John's memory.
