Obituary for Joseph F. Giuffre
Webster: Joseph F. Giuffre, at age 98, on Saturday, April 23, 2022. Predeceased by his wife, Lillian. He is survived by his daughters, Andrea Giuffre and Janine (Mark) Arvisais, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Joe was a First Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Air Corps in the Pacific during WWII, and proudly served in the 41st Photo Reconnaissance Squadron.
The family would like to thank the staff at Cherry Ridge Care Center for the loving care given to Joe.
No prior calling. Family and friends are invited to attend his Graveside Service Wednesday, April 27th at 10am at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 (stjude.org) or Honor Flight Rochester, P.O. Box 23581, Rochester, NY 14692 (honorflightrochester.org) or Masses may be offered in his memory.
