Our beloved father and grandfather went home to be with the LORD on August 24, 2021. He was born in Ukraine in 1924. He will always be remembered for his kind spirit and firm hand. Lew retired from Lightnin Mixing Equipment Co. Survived by his son, Eugene (Joy) Skic, daughter Elizabeth Werner, grandson Gregory Werner, nephews George (Esther) Skic, Victor Skic, niece Olga (Michael) Sawuk and many nieces and nephews in Ukraine. He was predeceased by his former wife, Anna Skic and his brother Walter Skic of New Jersey.

Friends are welcome Thursday, September 2nd from 4-7pm at the Michael R. Yackiw Funeral Home, 1650 Empire Blvd. Panachyda at 6:30pm. Lew's Divine Liturgy will be held Friday, September 3rd 10AM at St. Mary’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 3176 St. Paul Blvd. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
