Pittsford: PIOTR SZABLOWSKI was born in Poland on January 27th, 1921 to the late Ignacy and Michalina. He passed away at home surrounded by his family on December 30th, 2022 at the age of 101 years old. He is predeceased by his beloved wife of 50 years, Irena, his sister, Janina, and brother, Pawel. Piotr was a dedicated and loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He loved his family with all his heart and would sacrifice anything for them. Piotr had profound survival skills and persevered during many hardships. His attitude of gratitude was contagious.

Piotr is survived by his children, daughter, Kasia (Al) Messerschmidt: son, Walter (Gloria) Szablowski: granddaughters, Gloria (Brian) Wagner, Irena (Chuck) Perry, and his great grandchild, Connor Wagner.

Family and friends are welcome to calling hours at the Profetta Funeral Chapel 1650 Empire Blvd. in Webster Tuesday, January 3rd from 5 to 7 PM. Please join us Wednesday, January 4th for a Funeral Mass at 10 AM at St Stanislaus Kostka Church at 1124 Hudson Ave. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery followed by lunch with the family.
