Stavros Votsis passed away peacefully, at the age of 74. Surrounded by his wife of 48 years Toula, his children Peggy, Julie (Rik) Bausch and Paul and his sweet granddaughters Stella and Anna. Predeceased by his parents, Apostolos and Elisavet and sister-in-laws Eleni Votsis and Anna Perkas. Survived by his siblings Demetrios, Christos (Chrystanthi), Konstantinos, Peggy, brother-in-law Demetrios Perkas and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Known for his wonderfully playful sense of humor and storytelling, he brought many smiles and much laughter to those around him throughout his life. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church on 962 East Avenue. The family would like to say a special thanks to the friendly staff at St Ann's Home Connection Program and to the UR Hospice Care team and GAMA at Highland Hospital for the wonderful care and support they all provided.
Family and friends are welcome Monday, May 15th from 5-7pm at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church 962 East Ave. where Stavros' Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 16th at 11am. Interment will follow at White Haven Memorial Park.
