Sunday, October 11th, 2020. Predeceased by her husband, John Lyko and brothers and sisters in Ukraine. Survived by her sister, Olga Chalupa; son, Bohdan (Renee) Lyko; daughters, Irene (Gregory) Smith and Mary (Scott) Wallace; grandchildren, Dianna, Joe, Eva and Sophie Lyko, Philip (Katelyn) Smith, Nicole (Zachariah) Lambert, Nadia and Christopher Wallace; great-grandchildren, Sawyer Smith and Zara Lambert; several nieces and nephews in America, Ukraine and Poland. Tekla was born in Ukraine and immigrated to America in 1968 where she raised three children. She was a member of Lemko Organization and sisters of Olga at Church of Epiphany, also Ukrainian National Women's League of America and the Ukrainian Cultural Center of Rochester.

Her Divine Liturgy will be celebrated Thursday, October 15th at 10am at Ukrainian Catholic Church of Epiphany (202 Carter St.) Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the church. Please visit www.yackiwfuneralhome.com to share a memory of Tekla.
